All plants are air purifiers because they absorb toxins from the air and provide oxygen to the human body's vital blood. However, there are some specialized indoor and outdoor plants that go a long way in purifying the air around us and giving us clean air to breathe. . Some plants, including NASA's list of air-purifying plants, have been scientifically studied for their benefits. Notable outdoor air-purifying plants include tulsi (holy basil), aloe vera, English ivy, and areca palm. Among the
houseplants, snake plant, ZZ, aglaonema, ivy (Scindapsus), philodendron and syngonium are excellent additions.
