Exotic Caladium Bulbs
Exotic Caladium Flower Bulbs
Caladium are frequently referred to the common names Elephant ear, Heart of Jesus, and Angel Wings (which they share with the closely related genera Alocasia, Colocasia, and Xanthosoma). From the original South American plant, Caladium bicolor has more than 1000 identified varieties.
Directly rising from the tuber buried in the ground underneath are large, spear- or arrowhead-shaped leaves on long stems. Each leaf can grow up to 12 inches long on 1-foot stalks, depending on the soil and conditions. Another well-liked indoor plant is caladium hortulanum.
You can keep it outside in the summer when the weather is ideal and bring it inside during the winter in the correct temperature.
