A healthy Spanish moss plant is silver green in color and absorbs moisture and nutrients from the air .

Spanish moss - air plants can be placed on your table top or can be hung near the window.
Water requirements:
Requires regular and periodic misting for survival.
Plant can be dunked in water and dried completely once a week.It can survive without water for some days when kept in ventilated rooms.
Care of Spanish moss:
Excess water should not be given to plants; this may lead to death of the plant. This plant does not require soil for its growth.
Light requirement:
Indirect sunlight is enough for the plant. Do not keep the plant in full sunlight in the afternoon time . This may kill the plant.
Avoid keeping this plant in full A.C rooms as such temperature will kill the plant .
Propagation :
For propagation, split out one or two branches from your plant and nourish them separately.
The splits may grow 10 to 20 cm in a year .
Propagation is not easy because pups usually become inactive if they are separated too early from their mother plant.
