About the plant:

1.Tillandsia brachycaulos brazil are suitable indoors and are quite good display plants . Tillandsia brachycaulos is a moisture loving plant and absorbs nutrients and moisture from air . 

2.It possesses non functional roots so does not require soil potting mixture.

3.Water requirement: Tillandsia brachycaulos does not require watering; instead regular or alternate misting is enough for the survival of the plant. Avoid extra misting as this will lead to plant rot. 

4.Proper ventilated rooms are preferred for this plant. Keeping them in A.C rooms will not work at all.

6. It is good to place the plant in multi color marbles and pebbles to add a touch of beauty to your table top. Small hairs present on the leaves called trichomes absorb moisture from the air so misting should be done in leaves.  

7.Light requirement: Tillandsia brachycaulos requires bright sunny indirect light for best growth. Also in the absence of light it can be provided with artificial light . Optimum amount of light helps in blooming and red coloured inflorescence appears which looks like a flower.

8.It is very important to let your Tillandsia brachycaulos dry completely before replacing the plant .
