Sunlight
Place the plant outside in bright natural light. Protect the plant from direct harsh sunlight as this can damage the foliage.
Soil
The soil should be well-draining and fertile, rich in organic material.
Water
Insert your finger/plain small stick into the soil to check the moisture. Water when the topsoil (1-2 inches) feels dry to the touch. Water well in summer and give less water in winter and rainy season.
Application of fertilizers
Feed the plant with an organic fertilizer once a month during the main growing season.
Loosen the top soil without disturbing the plant's roots so that it can take up nutrients and moisture more easily.
Plant protection
Remove dead, infected or damaged plant parts and dispose of them away from the planting area.
Spray neem, eucalyptus or citrus oil for any insect/pest attack as a first aid.
