snake plants
What makes it special in the Snake Plants?
Snake plants boast beauty deeper than leaves. These tropical plants are some of the best indoor air purifiers, removing formaldehyde and nitrogen oxides from indoor air every night. They're like the house cleaning elves you dream of. They clean the air while you sleep, making them the perfect choice for bedroom plants.
Sunlight
Snake plants prefer steady light with indirect but some direct sun. They can adapt to full sun conditions and will survive in dim light conditions.
Soil
Snake plants prefer a loose, well-draining mix. This plant will do well in sandy soils. Use potting media that is low in peat content.
Water
Allow the soil to dry out between watering. In winter, reduce watering monthly, or whenever the soil is dry to the touch.
Fertilizer
Use a balanced fertilizer, i.e, NPK 10:10:10 or 20:20:20 during the growing season, i.e. spring and summer twice a year.
