Planting and care

• When the earth (soil) seems dry to the touch, water a plant.

• Do not overwater.
  

• Although they can tolerate shade, petunias thrive in full sun, especially in hot climates.

• Trim back branches to retain shape and get rid of any broken or dead plant pieces.

• High-phosphorus fertilizer applications made early, and midsummer enhance both flowers and vigor.

Sunlight

 This plant flourishes well in full sun but it can also tolerate partial shade. 

It requires about 4 to 6 hours of sunlight regularly for good growth.

Watering  

Water the plant twice during extreme hot days and reduce water during winters.

Water the plant once a week during normal temperature.

Soil            

 This flowering plant requires well drained soil. Soil potting mixture for this plant should generally contain 40 % cocopeat, 40 vermicompost and 20 % local garden soil

Fertilizer        

  Prefer an organic fertilizer once a month or once in two months.

Ornamental Use:

It can be generally kept indoor and in a terrace area and add a touch of beauty.
