About the succulents:

Succulents are best indoor plants that are adapted to limited watering . These plants store moisture in their thick leaves and are drought tolerant plants.  These plants when hung or placed indoors add a touch of beauty to the place.

Soil requirements for succulents:

 Well drained and Porous soil is required for the succulents.  Potting mixture of soil used for succulents should contain a large part of Sand . 

Do not add too much organic matter in the potting mixture; this is harmful for succulents. 

How to water succulents?

Watering during summer is done once a week and once a month in winter. 

Avoid misting in the succulents; this is harmful for the plant 

Sunlight requirement for the succulents:

Succulents require a good amount of light especially in winters.  Normally 4 to 6 hours of sunlight is good for succulents. 

Save these plants from bright sunlight in the afternoon time . 

Fertilizers:

Succulents need a good amount of nutrients for growth like other plants so Fertilizers should be applied every few months.

How often can succulents be repotted?

Succulents can be repotted every two years .

How to Propagate succulents?

Succulents are propagated by cuttings . The leaves or stem of the plant are used as  cuttings for propagation. 

Where can succulents be placed?

Succulents can be placed in an area where it can receive a good amount of sunlight.
