Ixora flower colour -Red

This plant is a wonderful indoor plant that does not require too much care and attention. 

Soil requirement 

The soil potting mixture used for growing ixora red plant should possess a high amount of organic matter and peat moss .

Water requirement 

Water Ixora plants once a week during summers and once in 15 to 20 days during winters .

The plant loves moisture and humidity but does not like overwatering. 

Water the soil only when the topsoil becomes dry. 

Light requirements

This plant can be kept in direct sunlight or in partial shade . It needs more than 6  hours of direct or shaded light . Protect the plant from midday bright sunlight. 

Temperature requirements 

Best optimum temperature for good growth requires above 15 degree celsius temperature in summer and also during winters.
