Evergreen perennial shrubs in the Agavaceae family include dracaena. Attractive cluster of broadly elongated leaves at the end of the thin trunk that are fan-shaped and spirally organized.

Dracaena Care
- Maintain the plant in bright, indirect natural light.
- Check the moisture in the soil by poking it with your finger or a simple little stick.
- When the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch, water.
- For at least two weeks after getting it, do not repot.
Sunlight
- For plants to grow healthily, they need at least 3-6 hours of sunlight every day, ideally in the morning, and the rest of the time they need natural, indirect strong light.
Watering
- Before you water, check the moisture in the soil using your finger or a simple tiny stick.
- When the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry to the touch, water.
- In the summer (June to September) water your plants thoroughly; during the winter and rainy season, water them less.
