Cineraria Multi Mix Flowers

Cineraria only bloom once and are truly annuals.

Cineraria - Seeds come in packets containing 80 seeds.

Cineraria flower 7-9 months after planting and grow well in short-term greenhouses. The shrub bears pink, blue, purple, and tiny yellow blooms.

Planting and care

• Cineraria prefer cool temperatures between ;(17.8 C) at temperatures above (15.6C) the blooms open and wither more quickly.

• Another potential issue with this plant is cold draughts, which can result in withering or yellowing leaves.

• This plant requires regular watering, and it should always feel moist.

• Cineraria require high light levels; however, they should not be in direct sunlight.

  Cineraria need a good amount of light, but it should be away from any direct light. 

They also like a more humid environment and this can be achieved by placing the pot on a tray of pebbles that is filled with water.

Watering   

Try to keep soil moist throughout the growing season. This flowering plant requires a lot of water so it should be watered as the topsoil becomes dry.

Temperature     -    Cineraria like cool temperatures around 45 to 55 F (17.8 C)

Fertilizer     -     Apply any organic fertilizer once a month.

Location           -    keep the pot near the window or in the balcony where it gets partial sun. 

Harvest Season    -    Keep several flowers on the plants to go to seed if you want to start them from seed next year. Harvest them when they are white and fluffy.
