ABOUT AGLAONEMA: Aglaonemas (Botanical Name: Aglaonema sp.) are perennial evergreen plants from the family Araceae. They are perennial evergreen plants featuring lush green foliage, making them a very common option for indoor planting. The Aglaonema Red Lipstick is a variety that got its name due to the presence of red lining along the leaf blade as well as along the midrib. HOW TO TAKE CARE OF AGLAONEMA:
SOIL: Well-drained soil is best for Aglaonemas. Pots must have holes in them to drain off any excess water.
WATER: Watering can be done only when the topsoil becomes dry. Overwatering should be prevented. Watering can be done directly in the soil.
SUNLIGHT: Proper exposure to light is needed. Aglaonemas need good exposure to the bright sun for 3-4 hours a day. Aglaonemas do not grow well below 15 degrees Celcius.
FERTILIZERS: Any water-soluble light fertilizer can be used during the growth stage of the succulents or during the summer months of March to July.
HOW TO DO REPOTTING IN POTS: Aglaonemas can be repotted typically after 12- 18 months. Pots 1-2 inches larger than the previous one can be selected for repotting.
